Nature Visions – A Mid Atlantic Photography Expo is a major photographic experience organized each year under the guidance of eight photography clubs (including MWCC) in the Northern Virginia/Southern Maryland area. The Expo this year will be held November 18 – 20th at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas VA.
We have over two dozen instructional sessions, great local and national vendors, and two stupendous exhibits of YOUR work. Registration is open now! Online registration is required for admission.
Digital entries for the NVPE nature and fine art photography exhibits will be accepted about September 1. Club members will be limited to a total of six (not ten) nature entries this year, in order to include more photographers in the exhibit. As before, club members may submit up to two entries for the open exhibit.
This year’s All-day Friday Seminar Speaker is Mastering Travel Photograph by the noted photographer, Bob Krist. Bob’s images have appeared in National Geographic, Travel & Leisure, Islands, and National Geographic Traveler.
The Saturday Keynote address will be given by landscape photography expert, Tom Till. Tom will be sharing advice and tips from his many years shooting professionally in the field while speaking about Photographing the American Southwest.
The Sunday FREE Featured Speaker is Julianne Kost, who will present, “Lightroom CC – Take It, Then Make It!” This session will focus on the develop module in Lightroom.
