MWCC produces The Proof Sheet -- a monthly newsletter in PDF format.

Our editor, Christine Borne, won the The Photographic Society of America Club, 2020 Newsletter Contest Arthur P. Henricks, Jr. Memorial Award, top scorer of all the newsletters entered. And in 2023, won Best Environmental Article - Chasing the Aurora Borealis in the Lofoten Islands of Norway by John Caplis

Within the newsletter, you will find interesting articles about photography and information on club activities: events, meetings, club programs, competition schedules, and club competition results.

Club members are invited to submit articles about the art, science, or history of photography; if the subject interests you, it surely will be of interest to other club members. Feature articles should be 3 to 5 pages in length. We also encourage you to submit short articles of at least a half-page.  Topics for short articles abound; some examples are product reviews or impressions, tips or techniques, and travel issues. Have fun with this, it is your newsletter.

The Proof Sheet goes into production during the last week of each month. Contributions should reach the editor’s desk by the 15th of the month prior to publication. Brief, time-urgent copy, generally one paragraph in length may be submitted up to 5 working days before the end of the month. Feature and Short articles submitted after the 15th will be kept and allocated space in subsequent month editions.
